   In February 16th, Vale released its production report in 2016. The fourth quarter of 2016 and the year 2016, Vale strong operating performance, iron ore, pellets, nickel, copper, cobalt and gold, the highest single season and annual production of new record.
2016 annual iron ore production reached a record 3.488 tons. Carajas 2016 annual iron ore production reached a record 1.481 tons, compared with 2015 growth of 18 million 600 thousand tons. In 2016 fourth quarter output single season coal 1 million 700 thousand tons, compared to the previous quarter to reduce 600 thousand tons, the reason is that in November 2016 the sale of the CarboroughDowns factory, and explosives supply affected Mozambique factory blasting operation. Since the explosive supply recovery, coal business operating results continued to improve, in December 2016 a single month output reached 600 thousand tons, in January 2017 a single month output reached 800 thousand tons, a record monthly output of a new record.
